On 24th October 2021, New Acropolis Main Centre organised yet another follow-up to the ongoing ‘Work with Nature’ session at the BMC Rock Garden, Napeansea Road (Shantivan).
Working in groups, volunteers worked on two major activities. One group turned the 4 compost heaps created last month, facilitating microbial activity in the soil formation process. The second team of volunteers planted saplings of kitchen herbs like citronella, lemongrass, mint and tulsi. Through these sessions, volunteers experienced the natural harmony in Mother Nature with a hands on interaction with soil, plants, insects.
Join us in this endeavour, as we continue to work on discovering through this ‘work with nature’ series at the garden.
