On 18th December 2020, Volunteers of New Acropolis Main Centre conducted an online activity with Bap-nu-ghar, a shelter home for women. The event facilitated reflections and heart to heart conversations between the women and volunteers of New Acropolis on the theme of Self-Empowerment. Volunteers shared inspirational stories of women from various fields highlighting the challenges they faced and the way they empowered themselves to follow their dreams. The interaction addressed themes such as overcoming fear of failure, taking initiative, daring to dream, and developing independence to follow our dreams without relying on others. A theme emphasized through the activity was on the need to learn to direct one’s own life, despite our circumstances.
