On 28 June 2025, a talk titled “Growing Stronger – Symbol of Pyramid” was hosted by New Acropolis Pune, engaging participants in an insightful exploration of symbolism and inner growth.

Conducted by Shraddha Shetty Branch Manager of the Pune the session delved into the language of symbolism, which, as she explained, differs from mere signs. Symbolism is the language of life, offering deeper meanings that go beyond surface understanding. The speaker emphasized the importance of developing the ability to listen to the “silent voice” within and to interpret the symbols that life constantly presents.

Central to the discussion was the symbol of the pyramid, found across ancient civilizations such as Egypt and Mesoamerica. The speaker explored how the pyramid—both in form and function—offers a model for personal development. Its wide base and pointed top reflect both stability and direction, representing the need to grow horizontally (in breadth and life experience) and vertically (in depth, consciousness, and purpose).

“Its wide base and pointed top reflect both stability and direction, representing the need to grow horizontally (in breadth and life experience) and vertically (in depth, consciousness, and purpose).

Drawing a connection between the pyramid and the pyre (fire), she emphasized that vertical growth symbolizes aspiration and inner transformation. “We must build our lives like pyramids,” she said, “grounded and expansive, yet always reaching upwards.”

An engaging activity helped participants experience the structural significance of the pyramid, demonstrating how strength arises from balanced development. She concluded with the idea that the pyramidal structure exists in all of nature, and those who recognize a need and rise to meet it help form the peak—the guiding point for others.

The session left the participant with a message to reflect on their own growth—building stronger foundations while aspiring toward higher ideals.
