On Sunday, 4th September 2022, volunteers from New Acropolis Pune conducted a street engagement at Kalakar Katta on Fergusson College road. Dressed as warrior-philosophers of peace, the members held up a banner with the words ‘Sow a seed of virtue today’, carried shields with virtues and interacted with people, inviting them to spin the Wheel of Virtues and put into practice the virtue the wheel stops at, at least for a day.
The live engagement aroused curiosity and attracted the interest of passersby, and enabled some of the volunteers to share what New Acropolis offers and how they bring the practice of philosophy into day-to-day lives, allowing them to express timeless virtues to improve themselves and therefore the world.
