On Saturday 24th September, 2022, New Acropolis Pune branch hosted a talk titled Forming a Better Society: Inspiration from Plato.
Drawing on the ancient Greek philosopher’s insights that are relevant even today, the speaker focused on his ‘Allegory of the Chariot’ and highlighted what he refers to as the four cardinal virtues of Temperance, Courage, Prudence and Justice that we can bring into society, in order to foster harmony and bring about order, individually and collectively.
