Join us for a mindful kitchen gardening session beginning with a short talk on the value of Mother Earth Day and how growing our own food connects us to nature. The workshop includes a composting demo, hands-on microgreens planting with take-home kits, and practical tips on building a healthy kitchen garden—choosing the right containers, using natural fertilizers, and understanding seasonal cycles. Discover how gardening nurtures both the Earth and the Self through patience, care, and presence.

What we will cover:
• Basics on starting and maintaining your own urban kitchen garden
• Composting demo using easy, home-friendly methods that you can carry forward in your home
• Guided planting session with microgreens to take home with you
• Tips on soil ecology, seasonal growing, care needed for various kitchen plants
• Exploring how we can deepen our connection with nature and life in our urban environments
All materials and tools are included. Recommended for ages 16 and above. No prior experience necessary.
