New Acropolis Pune branch hosted a book discussion session inspired by Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning” on 24 January 2026.
Through sharing selected passages, the speaker focused on key themes such as inner spiritual freedom, a need for the right tension in our lives, and the importance of finding meaning in our everyday life.
The talk emphasized that we human beings, by virtue of our unique place in nature, possess the freedom to choose our responses and live responsibly—an idea echoed by ancient Stoic philosophers.
The speaker suggested that by recognising the true meaning of life we can respond to circumstances better by actively engaging with it.
Living in an active Philosophical manner can help us understand the mystery we call Life ending with the quote.
“Life is not merely quest for pleasure as Freud believed, nor a quest for power as Alfred Adler taught, but a quest for meaning”
