A thought-provoking talk on the “Path of Concentration & Inner Awakening” was held on 10 May 2025 at the New Acropolis Pune branch. The session was led by Shraddha Shetty, Branch Manager of New Acropolis Pune.

The speaker delved into the richness of ancient Tibetan culture, highlighting its disciplined lifestyle and the unique way teachings were transmitted from masters to disciples. A focal point of the talk was a special painting created in the year 1600 by a Tibetan Lama to visually represent the journey of mastering concentration, depecting the gradual process of taming the mind.

Drawing insights from the book Concentration and Inner Awakening by  philosopher Fernand Shwarz, the speaker emphasized that concentration is a tool not merely a technique – that must be cultivated through regular self- inquiry and inspiration .

She illustrated how this philosophical approach can help individuals lead a more meaningful life. The talk concluded with an engaging Q&A session, followed by lively discussions over tea and snacks with volunteers from New Acropolis Pune helping facilitate the interactions, making the event both insightful and interactive.
